Hello Gill, Ian, Keith & Mark. I was so sorry to find out this morning of Dave's passing last year (I was reviewing my recent Parkman pension newsletter). I was concerned when Dave didn't respond to my LinkedIn messages last summer and I tried to find an address but I concluded you'd moved house. I was so pleased to have caught up with him by 'phone in 2016, and truly shocked to hear about his battle with cancer. Sadly we never did get to play that game of golf we'd tried to arrange but couldn't quite finalise a date. Dave provided much needed technical support to me after I joined Parkman in 1990 and I regarded him as a mentor and have not had such a guiding light at work since then. I felt like I could never match his civil engineering ability or knowledge and I often thought of him as my career changed over the years and as our lives separated when I left Parkman in 1999. Dave will be very much missed by you and all who had regular contact with him. Please accept my belated sincere condolences, Keith.
